  Oh, Fedor is world famous and certainly the greatest MMA fighter who never fought in the UFC, but how much of a "rub" does she get from standing next to him?

I really don't think you get a rub from a fighter until you actually fight them.

That will probably sound really weird for somebody that doesn't know how we're using the word "rub" in these instances.

That's true; sometimes I forget that these colloquial terms aren't universal and it could definitely be taken in a different way, but giving someone a "rub" is an old pro wrestling term that suggests a wrestler can get more "over" (i.e., popular) as a result of either teaming or feuding with a bigger star. I don't even hear the term used much in MMA but I still don't get what it is this chick DOES in MMA other than pose for pictures. Has she ever actually fought anyone? She's sure as hell not a leading female MMA figure. She's no Gina Carano and my guess is that she'd get murdered by any of the better Japanese female MMA fighters. Of course, there's not many opportunities in North America for a girl fighter, either.

Wow...I didn't post anything when I had my Twitter page for week and I somehow had more followers than her. o.o

So, I had spoken to Elektra Knight via Facebook and we sorted this out.

The email address was hers but she told me the E-mail in question was not written by her. Apparently, Elektra is a very busy person and has some people manage her accounts from time to time to keep everything updated. And someone else wrote the email under her name. She's definitely learned a lesson from this and is going to take steps to manage her accounts closer so a misunderstanding like this doesn't happen again.

I'll admit, it took guts for this chick to take this issue on herself and sort it out first hand. And she wants to be friends and is interested in letting me help her out with some artwork for something later on. From all this it turned out to be a win-win situation since it would be better for us both to be friends helping each other than feuding over something stupid.

Maybe we'll hear more from her again sometime in the future.

So Elektra Knight, cool chick, just need to learn to sign out of her accounts when she handles her stuff. I guess someone thought they were doing her a favor, acting on her behalf. But was taken back that someone would step to her name and image. Especially someone with too much time and a little talent on their hands.

So that's the final word, at least we got a good laugh out of it.
