The Justice League Declares War

In Gotham City, Batman continues to fight both crime and ever-growing public distrust. But when he and fellow superhero Green Lantern uncover a fiendish plot to destroy Earth, they agree it’s time for action. Forging an alliance with Superman, Wonder Woman, the Flash, and newcomers Cyborg and Shazam, the Justice League battles villains to save the planet. This animated action adventure movie continues the saga of the legends of the DC universe.

This is the second DC cartoon movie to feature material from the New 52 series.

In the comic book series, Aquaman was a founding member of the Justice League, but he was replaced by Shazam in the film.

For the movie, Wonder Woman’s New 52 costume has been modified to make it less revealing.

In the earlier DC Comics series, Cyborg is a founding member of the Teen Titans. In the New 52, he’s a founding member of the Justice League, replacing Martian Manhunter.
